Jonathan Rivlin
Jonathan Rivlin, CPA is now in his third decade in this profession. He has gone from being taught the business as a kid with 13-column paper and a mechanical pencil to building seamless cloud-based integrations for his clients. With a can-do mindset, Jonathan works to set his clients at ease, even when dealing with complicated matters.
Jonathan's varied background in multiple disciplines enables him to adapt to new situations quickly. He is often able to discern unnoticed patterns and opportunities from a relatively small amount of information. A self-described "accounting geek," he creates customized solutions for his clients' unique needs.
Taking a cue from Einstein's famous quote about the math of taxes being "...way too difficult, it would take a philosopher...", Jonathan has committed himself to continuous education, above and beyond his profession's requirements. He is always taking seminars, reading, and watching scholarly videos to stay informed and sharp. He serves as the Secretary on the Board of Directors of the Maryland Society of Accounting and Tax Professionals.
Recognizing that the public's trust is paramount to the profession, and part of that includes service, Jonathan volunteers for the MD Volunteer Lawyer Service's Low Income Tax Clinic.
Outside of work, Jonathan enjoys playing Lego with his young children, exercising, writing, and exploring all this world has to offer.
